The Summer Food Program is a joint effort with the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury, U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Louisiana Department of Education. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided at seven school locations to children ages 5 – 18 in Calcasieu Parish. No registration or qualifications are required.

Breakfast and lunch will be served Monday through Friday. Food is not allowed to be taken off the premises. Breakfast is from 8 a.m. to 9a.m. Lunch is from noon to 1p.m. Safe activities for all ages will be provided between breakfast and lunch. Kids can stay fit, do arts and crafts, meet local heroes, play games and meet new people.
Acceptance and participation requirement for the Summer Food Program are the same regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability.
