The Summer Food Service Program is a joint effort with the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury, U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Louisiana Department of Education. Free meals are provided to all parish children, ages 5 – 18, at nine parish locations during the months of June and July. No registration or qualifications are required.

 Acceptance and participation requirement for the Summer Food Program are the same regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability.

 Lunch is served on daily basis, Monday through Friday, from the beginning of June through the end of July. Sites are closed on July 4.

All children ages 18 and under will receive meals at no charge. No registration is required. Program acceptance and participation requirements are the same for all children - regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, or disability. Meals will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

All food must be eaten on site – no food can be taken out of the facility.
