A New Way to Reserve a Meeting Room

Do you use the meeting rooms at the Library? If you've requested use of a meeting room using the online reservation form, a change is coming! We will be implementing a new meeting room/conference room request service by the end of March 2018. This change effects how users locate and request an available rooms and equipment.


  • The policy for requesting, staff approval etc., remains the same.

  • This new software will be available after March 29, 2018.

Key differences with this new service:

  • Users who prefer to use the self-service option will need a login. With this login, users can track pending, approved, and past reservations. Users may edit or cancel reservations as well update/edit user information such as phone number or email address.

  • Users who do not wish to create an account need to contact 337-721-7147 or their local branch for assistance with requesting use.

  • The monthly calendar has been replaced with the new Search for a Space option in which users begin the search with a date and time in mind for the use of the room.

  • The link has changed so if you’ve bookmarked the online form, you'll need to visit the meeting room webpage at to re-bookmark the Reservation Request form link.
