Mr. Kevin Guidry - Vice President

Kevin Guidry was elected on September 18, 2004, and is serving his first term as Police Juror.

Kevin has been employed at the Isle of Capri Casino for the past nine years as a Senior Executive Casino Host.  He is also the Co-host for two sports television shows, "Sound Off Live" with Cox Communications and "The End Zone" with Fox 29.  Presently he serves on the Louisiana State Board of Child Abuse Prevention, Community Advisory Panel, American Red Cross Board, United Way Hall of Fame Board, The Southwest Louisiana Associated Marine Institute Board (President), and Potter's House (Vice-President).

He is presently a member of the NAACP, League of Women Voters, United Way Pillars Club, Big Brothers Big Sisters Lunch Buddy Program, NFL Alumni, Inc., and LSU Alumni Association.

He and his wife, Michelle, have two daughters, Kayla and Khristian, and are members of New Life Family Worship Center.  In his spare time, he enjoys sporting events, playing golf, working with community youth programs, and traveling.

Committees:  Public Works, Ways and Means, Agenda (Chair), Budget, Communications and Emergency Response, and Ambulance Regluatory.

Mr. Guidry represents District 9, which includes the Southeast Lake Charles area, portions generally south of Prien Lake Rd., east of Hwy 14, west of La. 397, and north of Gauthier Rd.
