Dennis Scott is serving his first term as District 6 Police Juror.  As a local businessman, he is the owner of Scout Metal Construction, Inc. and Airport Storage Center, Inc.

Dennis, originally from Sulphur, has resided in Lake Charles for 17 years.  He is a veteran of the U.S. Army Infantry and LA Army National Guard.  He and his wife, Cyndy, have three children, Kalyn, Jacob, and Lauryn.  He is an active member of the Church of the King-LC where he serves as Director of Children's Ministries.

He enjoys mentoring and teaching young people, family time, and an occasional game of golf. 

Committees: Public Works, Ways and Means, Agenda,  Communications and Emergency Response, Personnel Policy Review, and Special Service Districts Review. 

Mr. Scott represents District 6, which includes the central Lake Charles area generally south of Prien Lake Rd., east of Elliot Rd., west of Lake St. and north of Lincoln Rd.
