Calvin Collins was elected in 1996 for his first term as a Police Juror. He is employed at Conoco Refinery as a General Supervisor and has been there 33 years. Calvin and his wife, Mary Lou, have three daughters, Gwendolyn, Peggy, and Dewanda. He is a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Knights of Peter Claver #41, and a  Eucharistic Minister. 

In his spare time, Calvin enjoys hunting, fishing, helping the needy, building and repairing buildings. Noteworthy accomplishments include being a successful businessman, general contractor,  landlord, and licensed barber. 

Committees: Public Works, Ways and Means (Vice Chair), Agenda, Alcohol Review, Communications and Emergency Response, and Litter Abatement and Solid Waste (Chair).

Mr. Collins represents District 2, which is a portion of Ward 1 that includes areas in Moss Bluff mostly east of U.S. 171; also a portion of Ward 3 that includes areas in Northeast Lake Charles.
