Les Farnum was elected in 2007 for his first term on the Police Jury for District 15.  He has been employed by Power and Control Systems for 24 years.  He and his wife, Karen, are Owners of Southern Engraving and Monograms located in Sulphur.  Les and Karen have four children, Brandi, Jeff, Greg, and Chris.

Les is a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, and the West Calcasieu Association of Commerce.

Les was a volunteer football and baseball coach with SPAR for 20 + years and past president of Sulphur Dixie Majors Baseball.

Les enjoys spending time with family and friends whenever possible.  He also enjoys relaxing at the camp on the river, snow skiing, scuba diving, and the annual "Classic" golf trip.

Committees: Public Works, Ways  and Means, Agenda,  General Insurance, Communications and Emergency Response, Personnel Policy Review, and Ambulance Regulatory.

Mr. Farnum represents District 15, which includes the Maplewood area and unincorporated Ward 4 mostly bound on the west by Hwy. 27, on the north by Hwy. 90, on the east by the Calcasieu River, and on the south by Hwy. 108.
