Sandra Treme was elected in 1992 and is serving her fourth term as a Police Juror. She is the owner of Tall Pines Realty. Sandra and her husband, Butch, have two children, Terri and Tonya. She is a member of First Baptist Church in DeQuincy, DeQuincy Chamber of Commerce, Library Board of Control, NACo, and the DeQuincy Rotary Club.  She serves on the Louisiana Police Jury Executive Board, NACo Entergy and Land Use Committee, and is liaison to the Convention and Tourist Bureau.

In her spare time, she enjoys horseback riding, skiing, and golf. Noteworthy accomplishments include being the first woman to be elected to the Police Jury from this District and the first Juror to be re-elected in 24 years. 

Committees: Public Works (Vice Chair), Ways and Means, Agenda, Budget, General Insurance (Chair), Alcohol Review (Chair), and Litter Abatement and Solid Waste.
 

Mrs. Treme represents District 11, which includes all of Ward 5, Starks, DeQuincy and most of Ward 6 except a small portion in the southeast corner, also a portion in the northwest corner of Ward 4, and a portion of Ward 7 just north of Vinton.
