Adjudicated Property To Be Sold
The Division of Planning and Development has begun
processing applications to sell adjudicated
property. Parcels located in the unincorporated
areas of Calcasieu Parish are being considered for
sale. Properties will be offered within the
municipalities provided agreements are reached
between the Police Jury and municipalities.
At this time, the City of Lake Charles, City of DeQuincy, City of Sulphur
and other various districts have
signed agreements with the Police Jury. It is
important to note that these properties are being
offered at a surplus adjudicated property sale
and not a tax sale.
