The
Calcasieu Parish Police Jury Housing Department with
the City of Lake Charles will be hosting the 2003
Housing and Homeownership Fair on Saturday April 12,
2003 at the Old City Courthouse, 1001 Ryan Street,
3rd Floor from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The
current thrust of the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury
Housing Programs is to offer opportunities to
explore partnership strategies that create a plan of
action for home ownership through the networking of
all local resources.
This
will be a community resource that provides
comprehensive education and counseling for people
interested in owning their own home.
Designated primarily for low and moderate-income
families, it will be a "one stop shop" that provides
a homebuyer services free of charge.
The
program will offer a full array of services
including:

First
Time Homebuyer Education Seminars
