Calcasieu Parish Finance
Director Jerry Milner was one of the featured
speakers at the 2004 Texas Public Funds Investment
Conference in Houston held on November 18th.
Jerry’s topic was “How to Defend a Public Investment
Portfolio with a Well Defined Investment Process.”
The conference brought
together County Treasurers from all across the state
of Texas. Jerry shared speaking duties with
financial analysts known on a national level.
Jerry has been the Police Jury’s
Finance Director since 1988, and he is a Certified
Public Accountant as well as a Chartered Financial
Analyst. Jerry also serves on the board of the
Parochial Employees’ Retirement System of Louisiana.
