The new road runs east off U.S. Hwy 171, just north of You Winn Road and south of Joe Miller ROad in Moss Bluff.

There was a formal ribbon cutting, and the street sign was erected.  Clyde Dulaney Drive as completed at a cost of $1,339,181.  From U.S. Hwy 171, it intersects on the east with Goos Road and Paul Bellon Road in Ward One.

Police Juror Don Manuel said the road was constructed both for economic development and safety.  He added it was "the best intersection in Ward One."

Clyde Dulaney was a member of the Police Jury in the Ward One area from January 1992 to January 1996.  Police Juror Calvin Collins now represents that area.
