The Calcasieu Emergency Response Training Center (CERTC)
located at 1601 Holbrook Park Rd, Sulphur, LA
formerly the Ward 6 Fire Training Center, was
purchased by the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury in May
of 2000. Managed by the Office of Emergency
Preparedness the facility serves as a local training
ground for area industrial and municipal responders.
From HAZMAT Refresher to Industrial Fire Brigade
training, Rescue training to Confined Space training
the versatile props at the facility fit into most
training objectives. Whether you use instructors
from LSU and A&M, or your own, CERTC can help you
maintain the readiness level of your responders and
satisfy your training needs. Many industrial fire
brigades have already taken advantage of the
