At
its regular meeting on Thursday, August 5, 2004, the
Police Jury approved a 15-year cable television
renewal with James Cable, LLC (d/b/a CommuniComm).
General Manager for
CommuniComm, Walter Seasock, comments, "We are
looking forward to continuing our presence here in
Calcasieu for the next fifteen years."
As part of the franchise
renewal, parish officials hope to add the Government
Channel to the CommuniComm cable channel lineup by
the Fall.
CommuniComm's franchise area includes unincorporated
areas in Moss Bluff/Gillis, near DeQuincy, Westlake,
Vinton, and north of Sulphur. |
