Construction
for the new Parish boat launch and park at the Industrial
Canal is well underway!
As of April 2nd
the launching facility has been constructed, all
sheet piling work is complete as well as timber pile
work.
 The
caretaker's home is "blacked in" with walls and the
roof is under construction. The structural
framing has begun on the convenience store and the bait
building slab has been poured as well as the slab
for the waste disposal and fuel tank area.
The forming of sidewalks along the seawall is
currently underway.
The
contractor has indicated the project remains on
schedule and the completion date remains to be
around mid-June 2003.
