The Calcasieu Parish Ambulance Service Regulatory Committee met on February 18th to approve a proposed Request-for-Proposals (RFP) document for emergency and non-emergency ambulance service within the Parish.

After making their recommendations to the Police Jury on Thursday, February 20, 2003, the Jury approved the advertisement of solicitation of proposals for this service.
