Small District 9
Kevin Guidry was elected on September 18, 2004, and is serving his fourth term as Police Juror. He served as Vice President for 2008 and President in 2010.

He holds the position of Louisiana Sales Manager for L'Auberge Casino & Resort. He books group sales for the L'Auberge Meeting & Event Center. He works directly with corporate, government and association sectors to stage their conferences, meetings and events at the resort.

He has more than seventeen years of experience in sales, marketing and casino operations. He also hosts a weekly sports talk show, Sound Off 60, which airs in the Southwest Louisiana market.
Additionally, he has provided sideline coverage for Tiger Vision in Baton Rouge covering Louisiana State University home games.

He is married to the former Michelle Gallow and is the father of two daughters, Kayla and Khristian. He attends Faith Vision Ministries Church. He is actively involved on the Deacon Board, sports ministry, marriage ministry and Christian based football and basketball camps throughout Louisiana. 

Mr. Guidry attended Louisiana State University on an athletic scholarship and majored in Mass Communication and Journalism. He is a former pro football player. He played in the National Football League for the Denver Broncos, Atlanta Falcons and Phoenix Cardinals. He also played for Tampa Bay Storm in the World League and Orlando Thunder in the Arena League.

He is active in the community where he serves on numerous boards including the American Red Cross, AMIkids Southwest Louisiana Board of Trustees, LSU Football Alumni Inc., ACT Inc. and the Calcasieu Parish School Board Drug Advisory Board.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority honored him with the Community Service Award in 2003 and 2008; and in 2005 he earned the Martin Luther King, Jr. Coalition Black History Hall of Fame Trailblazer Award. In 2011 he was honored by Zion Tabernacle Baptist Church for his community service with the Bayou Classic Christian Fellowship of SWLA.
