Park Hours:

  • 5:00 AM - 11:00 PM

Directions:

  • Via Interstate 10

  • Take the Louisiana Highway 27 Exit south from Sulphur for approximately 11 miles until you reach the Ellender Bridge.

  • After crossing the Ellender Bridge, turn right at the foot of the bridge onto the service road.

  • The road will circle back under the bridge and lead into the park.

Facilities:

  • Public Restroom w/Showers

  • Boat Launch: Two boat launches are available at the Intracoastal Park allowing access to the Intracoastal Waterway. Both launches have wharves attached.

  • Camping: This park has tent camp sites and nineteen (19) RV camper sites with electricity available. Rental rates for tent sites without electricity included is $4.00 per night. RV camper sites with electricity (50 amp service) are available for $12.00 per night. Four RV sites with electricity (30 amp service) are available for $8.00 per night. Length of stay is limited to fourteen (14) continuous days. Payment is made to resident park keeper and will be collected at beginning of stay. No reservations are accepted for camping facilities. Rental of tent sites and RV sites are on a first-come/first-serve basis. Dump station available for RV users. You may call the park to inquire about the availability of sites.

  • Playground: Playground center with many fun features.

  • Picnic: Picnic areas spread throughout park with BBQ pits.

  • Pavilion: Intracoastal Park has an open air pavilion with electricity.  There is no rental fee for this pavilion and no reservations are required.  This pavilion is used on a first come/first serve basis.

  • For questions regarding Parish Parks or the availability of pavilion, please call (337) 721-3540, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

  • No commercial or fund raising activities are allowed at these buildings.
