PARISH
PARKS
The Police Jury has maintained a parks system for several years primarily
through the utilization of user fees. We have been able to build and maintain
playgrounds, boat launches, camper-trailer sites, a beach area and pavilions.
Parish park facilities are listed below:

RECREATION DISTRICTS
The Police Jury has authority to appoint special districts, boards,
commissions, etc. for the purpose of providing specific services for a
designated area within the Parish. Each of these districts and boards governs
its own activities and has its own budget.
Listed below are special districts for recreation within the Parish. These
districts focus primarily on team sports for youth and adults but also include
park facilities for family-type events.
