Park Hours:

• 5:00 AM - 11:00 PM

• Launch Ramp - 24 hours daily

Directions:

• Take the Nelson Road Exit #4 south approximately 1.8 miles to Country Club Road (LA 384).

• Turn west on Country Club Road approximately 1.9 miles to Big Lake Road. (LA 384 turns south).

• Turn south on Big Lake Road and travel approximately 4.4 miles to Henry Pugh Road. (Located just south of the LNG Plant).

• Turn west onto Henry Pugh Road. Landing is located 1.1 miles at the end of the road.

• Public Restroom

• Boat Launch: Calcasieu Point Landing has a three lane public boat ramp which allows access to the Industrial and Intracoastal Canals which is adjacent to nearby Turner's Bay and Big Lake.

• Parking Allowed: Parking is available throughout park.  No overnight camping, parking or mooring of boats is allowed.

• Facilities: A full service store is located at the park through a private individual's lease with the Port of Lake Charles.  This store offers snacks, beverages, ice, etc. and live bait when available. Store hours are seasonal with the exception of January and February when the store is closed.

• History: This is phase one of a new landing which was completed and opened to the public in November of 2003.  Further expansions in phase two include a proposed fishing recreational area, picnic area and an open air pavilion with restrooms.  Also, additional parking for patrons is expected with parking areas to be hard surfaced in the future.

• No commercial or fund raising activities are allowed at these buildings.
