Directions:
Via Interstate 10 - Take
Exit #4 off Interstate 10 (Toomey-Starks Exit) to
Highway 109.
Go north on Louisiana
Highway 109 to Louisiana Highway 12 in Starks,
Louisiana. Cross over Highway 12 and continue north
on Louisiana Highway 109 approximately three (3)
miles to Alligator Park Road.
Turn west onto Alligator
Park Road and proceed approximately two (2) miles to
where the road dead-ends at Gillis Road. Turn north
(right) and go approximately 1/ 2 mile to Alligator
Park Road which will be on the left.
Turn west (left) and the
park is located at the end of the road,
approximately 3/4 mile.

Boat Launch:
Alligator Park has a public boat launch into Old
River Slough, which is a tributary of the Sabine
River.
Camping: This
park has tent camp sites and eight (8) RV camper
sites with electricity available. Rental rates for
tent sites without electricity included is $4.00 per
night. RV camper sites with electricity are
available for $12.00 per night. Length of stay is
limited to fourteen (14) continuous days. Payment is
made to resident park keeper and will be collected
at beginning of stay. Campsites are available on a
first come first serve basis. Campsites will
be held for the rented time period. Dump
station available for RV users.
Picnic: Picnic
tables spread throughout Park.
Pavilion: A
pavilion is available at Alligator Park to rent for
various activities such as family reunions,
receptions, parties, etc. No commercial or fund
raising activities are allowed at this building.
The pavilion has air/heat, 15 - 8-foot folding
tables, 120 chairs, refrigerator, and stove. It
measures 74'x29' (2,146 square ft) and accommodates
approximately 140 people. This pavilion is rented on
a daily basis from 8:00 AM to 1:00 AM (one hour
after midnight).
Cost of rental for the Alligator Park Pavilion is
$60.00 for pavilion plus a $25.00 refundable
clean-up fee for a total cost of $85.00. Clean-up
fee is refundable to renter only if renter cleans
building. An extra $25.00 clean up fee is required
should you have a crawfish/shrimp/crab boil or fish
fry. This pavilion must be reserved in person at the
Calcasieu Parish Police Jury Facility Management Office at 1015 Pithon
Street, Lake Charles, Louisiana, Monday-Friday, 8:00
am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
