The
Office of Community Services (OCS) serves as the Parish's Social Service
Agency. Its mission is to provide social services, education,
intervention, and prevention-focused services to Calcasieu's aged,
indigent and adolescent population while promoting the development of
healthy infants and adolescents within the parish.
OCS is able to reach out to so many in need by utilizing a core
staff group along with hundreds of volunteers to accomplish its mission.
