 Randy
S. Vincent has been named Director of The Office
Of Community Services. He will oversee the Parish’s
mission to provide social services, education,
intervention, and prevention-focused services to Calcasieu’s senior citizens, indigent and adolescent
population while promoting the development of
healthy infants and adolescents within the parish.
Mr. Vincent has
spent the last 23 years of his professional career
in consumer finance, non-profit finance consulting,
community service, transportation operation
management, church ministry work, business
development and business sales. He has served on
numerous community, religious and corporate boards.
He graduated from
Lake Charles High School and earned a BA degree in
Communications from Stephen F. Austin State
University. Randy is also a Licensed and Ordained
Minister.
Randy is married to
Bernadette, a health care executive, and has two
daughters, Brandy 18 and Robyn 16. He enjoys all
sports and simply spending quality time listening to
people share their views on life’s issues.
When asked how he
felt about returning to his hometown after 27 years,
Randy replied, “It had been a long standing desire,
shared with Bernadette, to someday return home with
the necessary education and credentials to bring
value to the Lake Charles area."
