Litter Abatement Coordinator, and Elaine Huck
with Calcasieu Point Landing are shown with one of
the boaters’ litterbags that will be distributed to
the public. The primary goal of this project is for
boaters to properly discard of any trash generated
while boating and reduce the amount of litter going
into our waterways. The boaters’ litterbags were
donated to the Police Jury by the LSU Sea Grant
Program. This program is part of the Police Jury’s
“TAKE PRIDE PARISH WIDE” anti-litter campaign.
