• Implement the repair, routine and preventive maintenance programs, and renovations and modification of facilities and Parish grounds with use of in-house and contract personnel.
  

• Assist in similar functions within satellite programs in the Parish (Community Services, Housing, Juvenile Detention, Animal Services, and Job Training).
  

• Provide custodial services either in-house or through contract personnel, and provide contact and supervision of said contractors.
  

• Coordinate with architects and contractors throughout the Capital Improvement Program within the Courthouse Complex.
  

• Assist in selection, maintenance, and operation of 105 polling precincts throughout the Parish.

HIGHLIGHTS

Facility Management has increased its area of responsibility by approximately one-third without any additional personnel. Performance and capabilities of in-house personnel continue to improve and increase due to hiring practices and continued training. The continued availability of needed equipment and tools has increased capabilities within the department.
